Knuckles and stars

You put a hole in my heart the size of the universePunched through with your bare knuckles like the holes you made in your wall when you were angry

I broke

I crumpled

I tore too easily

But your hand bled more than I did

You might as well had punched concrete

Because I hurt back

Without laying a hand on you

And now you’re gone

But I have a galaxy in my chest

Enough space for stars

And the moon

But not enough space for someone like you
